Fikes Fixed It - Nolan Mains
Nolan Mains luxury apartments in Edina has been a loyal Fikes customer since 2020! One of the main complaints for many apartment complexes is the smell of trash, whether that be from the trash rooms, trash chutes, dumpsters, etc. Nolan Mains is no exception. We use odor neutralizing fogger diffusers in their trash rooms to tackle the trash odor at the source, and recently we installed HVAC diffuser units as well.
Since installing the HVAC units, the property management team has mentioned that the hallways no longer smell like trash and that the machines are all working well! We are always happy to come up with customized solutions for our customers to fit your needs.
The photo above showcases a couple of different things. The first are the Downy Unstopables placed in front of the HVAC. This was the prior solution being used for their smelly hallways, but the Unstopables have since been replaced with the much more potent HVAC diffusers! The second thing is the photo of the fogger unit located on a shelf in one of their trash rooms. This one machine is enough to tackle and control the odor of an entire trash room with multiple dumpsters that are also shared with a restaurant.

Customer Spotlight - Cedarvale Lanes
Cedarvale Lanes is a bowling alley in Eagan that Fikes of Minnesota has been servicing for over 10 years! They receive our sanitation service twice per week. We have two separate technicians than do their weekly cleaning, and both of them report that Cedarvale has super friendly staff and happy customers!
Cedarvale offers a youth bowling league and they have done a lot of work to make their program not only beneficial for kids, but also affordable and easy to participate for the parents! They offer flexible payment options, relaxed attendance expectations, special events, as well as free coaching in a positive environment. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Cedarvale had roughly 60 participants in their youth bowling league, but today they are up to around 95! Sign up and league start both take place in September.
